Students will work in teams to conduct research from multiple sources and organize the collected information into an informational poster.

Final Product
Create an informational poster for display in a visitor center at your chosen volcano. There are poster examples on the Glogster website as well as on the Project Task Sheet (part C). Your poster should be visually appealing and include the following information found on the Poster Rubric:

- Communication: students will need to communicate effectively with their team members and will articulate their thoughts and ideas (non-verbally) by creating the poster
- Critical Thinking: students will create mind maps to organize information and thoughts
- Technology: students will use the Internet for research and may use the computer or iPad to create their mindmaps and/or Glogs
- Self-Direction: students will need to manage their time well to complete the tasks individually and in groups
